| dc.description.abstract | Over the last two decades rates of divorce have increased in Botswana (Murray, 1981; Ahmed and Letamo, 1989; Bhebhe and Mosha, 1996). Despite this trend, little is known about women’s experiences of marital property division and the subsequent effects of this on women and children.
