dc.description.abstract | It is widely recognised that air pollution caused by the global rapid increase of automobile traffic is a threat to the environment. With regard to automobiles there are three general areas of concern: urban pollution, especially in highly populated cities with high density of private transport, depletion of the ozone layer and pollution resulting in disturbance of natural environment. Several methods of effective control of automobile emsissions to meet current and future environmental demands are analyzed. | en_US |
