    Abstract
The general objective of this study is to investigate the library and information needs of the continuing education students of the University of Botswana in some satellite campuses specifically in Selebi Phikwe and Mahalapye. This study is an attempt to examine how the students in satellite centres are fairing particularly in so far as their library and information needs are concerned. The study is also to establish how these students are coping with or without easy access to library facilities; explore or unravel what their library and information needs are; and suggest how these needs can be met.
